HTLF is pleased to announce that Sharon Tasman Prysant was a Panelist at the recent MAGI East 2014 Clinical Trials Conference in Philadelphia, May 4-7, 2014 on the topic of "Intellectual Property Provisions in Clinical Trial Agreements." Sharon also was the Session Chair for "Understanding Your Insurance Policy."
Sharon's session on IP in Clinical Trial Agreements was very well received, and Sharon received an "excellent" rating from the attendees. The topics presented included a general introduction to intellectual property law (including copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets), a more in-depth discussion of patents and inventions as related to clinical trials, study data and confidentiality, biospecimens and informed consent issues.
